Fellowship for the Common Good
A new, innovative program designed for professionals with significant career experience seeking to reflect and pivot to use their expertise and experience to help address society’s most pressing challenges. The program will launch in August of 2027 and will begin accepting applications in September 2026.
Modality: In-person
Duration: 9 months
Program Features:
- Two concurrent core courses focused on:
- Purpose: Exploring how to lead a life of meaning and value using principles from Ignatian and other faith traditions.
- Plan: Learning from Georgetown scholars in business, public policy and law on strategies for developing an individualized Purpose Plan
- Policy briefings from GU experts and members of the DC policy community
- Opportunities to audit select University courses and attend lectures and panels
- Special events such as site visits to federal agencies, international NGOs and DC think tanks
- A student mentorship program that brings undergraduate students and Fellows together for mutual learning
