Emerging Studies Institute

Launched in July of 2026, The Emerging Studies Institute (ESI) is an exciting new resource for the Georgetown University community centered on the development of new academic programs. The Institute can assist in creating a variety of programs, ranging from master’s to certificate programs, as well as custom and executive education programs.

Our team provides the necessary expertise and logistical support to take programs through the various stages of program development and accreditation. This includes program ideation, curriculum development, accreditation and foundational logistics support (such as budget preparation and teaching appointments).
